The posting I applied to in June is back up with a new number

Same unit, same shift, same three bullet points I could recite from memory. New requisition number, posted last Tuesday.
I've got a screenshot of the June one because I screenshot all of them now. My application on the old number still says under review, which it has said since June 19.
So do I apply again on the new number and look like I'm spamming, or leave it and get filtered out because my application is attached to a closed req? Somebody here has to have asked a recruiter this.

Small place, so I've watched this from close enough to hear both sides. Ours got reposted twice for one opening. Once because the description had the wrong shift on it, and once because our system drops applicants after ninety days and HR would rather start clean than argue with the software.
Neither time did anybody go back to the old pile. Apply on the new number. If you want to be sure it lands, put one line at the top saying you applied in June and are reapplying because the req reposted, so nobody reads you as two people.

While you're deciding, look at whose name is on the new posting. Ours changed recruiters in the spring and every req that person touched came back up, and the new one had no idea any of us existed.
I got my job by applying to the same opening three times across four months. Nobody mentioned it, at the interview or since. Nobody on the other side is keeping count.
