Part time as a new grad: does it exist anywhere?

Asked again and again on the boards this month by people juggling caregiving or a second income: full time nights is the default offer, but does anyone hire a new grad at 0.6 or 0.75?
If you started part time or job shared in year one, who hired you, and how did orientation work around the schedule?

It exists. The postings just don't call it part time. Long term care, home health agencies with training tracks, and clinic settings carry most of it; hospital cohorts want the first year full time because orientation hours are the point of the year.
A workable middle lives in the fine print: some programs allow a drop to 0.75 after six or twelve months, and that policy is askable in an interview even when the posting says nothing about it.
