The integrated network includes 11 acute care hospitals, 5 post-acute/long-term care facilities, community-based health centers, long-term care and rehabilitation facilities, home care services, correctional health services, and a health plan (MetroPlus). With a diverse workforce of approximately 45,000 healthcare professionals, the system provides care to more than one million patients annually across 70+ locations. For nursing professionals, NYC Health + Hospitals offers a wide range of practice settings across its integrated network, from acute care hospitals to long-term care facilities like NYC Health + Hospitals/Carter, which features a 164-bed Skilled Nursing Facility and 201-bed Long-Term Acute Care Hospital in Harlem.
