Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing with the Delaware State Board of Nursing
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience
- Most recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience must be within the last year
- Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate, and delegate skilled patient care
- Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to consistently follow established clinical processes
- Competency caring for patients on telemetry monitors
- Ability to identify basic arrhythmias and interpret EKG strips
- Previous experience caring for general medical, surgical, orthopedic, and oncology patients
- Must live in Lewes or the surrounding area to qualify
