As a NP/PA you will be responsible for providing urgent and non-urgent medical care for patients age birth to 21 years old. This care will be provided in accordance with the general policies and standards of practice as established by Pediatric Urgent Care. Must deliver high quality healthcare to a multicultural patient population. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Obtain accurate and concise HPIs and physical exams, provide documentation
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and occasionally chronic illnesses
Perform sports physicals with coinciding documentation
Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and health education
Conduct, supervise, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, including COVID 19 testing
Prescribe pharmacological agents and non-pharmacologic therapies
Perform various procedures including wound repairs, x-rays, and abscess drainage
Arrange for hospital transfers and complete associated documentation
Perform some administrative duties
Make referrals to outside specialties
