What You'll Do
Provide Outstanding Resident Care
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Serve as a clinical leader and support nursing staff throughout the shift.
Manage Medications & Treatments
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor and document resident responses to medications.
- Identify and communicate adverse drug reactions and medication concerns.
- Initiate enteral or parenteral therapies as ordered.
- Maintain accurate narcotic records and medication documentation.
- Coordinate pharmaceutical orders and ensure medication availability.
Ensure Accurate Documentation & Compliance
- Complete assessments, physician orders, progress notes, flowsheets, care plans, and other required documentation.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records.
- Follow all federal, state, and facility guidelines, policies, and nursing standards.
- Protect resident rights and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Respond with Confidence
- Assess and intervene during changes in resident condition.
- Implement emergency measures when needed.
- Direct and perform CPR and other critical interventions.
- Use sound clinical judgment to make timely decisions that support resident safety and well-being.

- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Knowledge of nursing best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
Licenses/Certification
Current RN Licensure in the State employed.
Valid CPR Certification.
Experience
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
