Fairview is looking for a Registered Nurse in the ICU at Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN.

Schedule

This role is a .6 FTE (48 hours every 2 weeks) working 12-hour day shifts, with every third weekend rotation. Variable weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes. Collaborates with patient, family and other health team members to develop a nursing plan as part of an integrated, comprehensive plan of care Develops an individualized plan based on age, social and cultural considerations, condition and other relevant needs. Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes.

Collaborates and communicates effectively and respectfully with the patient, family and members of the health care team within and across care settings to promote partnership-based health care Demonstrates the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes. Promotes a culture of evidence based practice (EBP)

Required Qualifications

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
• ACLS certification
• Critical Care Experience
• Will consider Pre-hospital Experience (EMT/Paramedic)
• Will consider New Graduate nurses with Critical Care Capstone/Immersion experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• CCRN certification
• 1 year ICU/CCU experience

Qualifications

$42.93- $71.46 Hourly
