About this role
Currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team for our 3 Clinic locations in Roanoke, Salem & Christiansburg. Recent Graduates are welcome to apply.
*Responsibilities*
In clinic assessment of New Patients to the practice and follow up of established patients.
Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans.
Read the full posting
Order and review diagnostic testing such as X-Ray and MRI in a timely manner – submit referral to outside providers if deemed necessary such as Orthopedics or Neurosurgery.
Patient Counseling – submit referral to an outside Agency such as Psychology or Psychiatry if deemed necessary.
Perform small office procedures – Joint Injections, Trigger Point Injections, Botox Injections
Medication management.
Refill and manage Intrathecal Pumps.
Demonstrate professional, collaborative, and consultative relationships with other providers.
Follow all designated prescriptive practices and monitoring requirements with the designated supervising physician.
Participate in and attend all required meetings, in services, and professional training.
Maintain superior interpersonal and communication skills as a member of the healthcare team to collaborate effectively with patients, families, staff, and community health workers.
Remain actively involved in continuing education.
Adhere to all established safety policies, procedures, and precautions.
*Requirements*
Graduate of accredited Program.
1 + years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant preferred but willing to train.
Active license for the State of Virginia or in process
Active DEA license or in process
