About this role
Treat actual or potential health problems using the nursing diagnosis and case management. Teach, counsel and provide supportive care to the patient and their significant others. Provides safe and appropriate nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
Performs thorough and timely assessment of patient's condition including physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative aspects. Identifies problems/nursing needs including discharge needs. Intervenes appropriately to address identified problems and needs.
Plans care according to standards of care. Evaluates effectiveness of care and revises plan if necessary. Provides education consistent with patient/family learning abilities.
Effectively communicates with physicians, co-workers, patients, families. Maintains National Patient Safety Goals. Administers medications accurately and timely.
Practices Universal Standard Precautions.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of NJ
- Graduate of an accredited program in nursing
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of NJ
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support preferred
- One-two years of experience preferred
