Silvercrest of Urbana is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our leadership team! If you are a strong clinical leader who is passionate about resident care, teamwork, and supporting nursing staff, we would love to hear from you.

Position Summary

The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit. This individual will provide leadership and support to nursing staff, ensure quality resident care, maintain regulatory compliance, and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

Provide daily leadership, supervision, and support to nursing staff on the assigned unit

Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care

Monitor resident conditions and assist with clinical assessments and care planning

Oversee documentation, medication administration, and compliance with nursing policies and procedures

Collaborate with physicians, families, interdisciplinary team members, and facility leadership

Assist with staff education, training, coaching, and performance improvement

Monitor infection prevention and control practices

Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

Help maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

Serve as a positive role model and resource for the nursing team

Qualifications

Current RN or LPN license in the State of Ohio

Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team

Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
