VitalCare Dialysis is seeking a dependable and motivated Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) to join our Acute Dialysis team. We provide dialysis services to hospitals across Oklahoma and are looking for technicians who are passionate about patient care, teamwork, and maintaining high clinical standards in acute care settings.

This role is ideal for a technician who can work efficiently in fast-paced hospital environments, communicate effectively with nursing staff and physicians, and provide compassionate support to dialysis patients.

*Responsibilities*

  • Prepare and operate dialysis machines and equipment safely and effectively
  • Assist with acute hemodialysis treatments in hospital settings
  • Monitor patients during dialysis treatments and promptly report any concerns to the RN
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, weights, and treatment data
  • Perform machine setup, priming, testing, disinfection, and breakdown procedures
  • Maintain infection control standards and follow aseptic techniques at all times
  • Assist with patient transportation and positioning as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
  • Ensure dialysis supplies and equipment are stocked and organized
  • Work collaboratively with RNs, nephrologists, and hospital staff to support quality patient care

*Qualifications*

  • Current CCHT certification required
  • Previous dialysis experience preferred
  • Acute dialysis or hospital experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of dialysis equipment, water systems, and infection control practices preferred
  • Ability to work in fast-paced acute care environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Dependable attendance and flexibility with scheduling
  • Current BLS certification preferred
