This 32- Bed unit features self-scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and every-other-weekend rotation, helping promote flexibility and work-life balance. Nurses in this unit benefit from a collaborative team culture, and the opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience. • 12 Hour Shifts Self- Scheduling 32- Bed Unit How you’ll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments What we’re looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Additional requirements include: • Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. • Two or more years of RN Emergency Department experience preferred.
