Registered Nurse NOC Shift

Assesses and evaluates the health status of resident/patient and provides care and treatment in accordance with physician orders and standards of practice. The Registered Nurse (RN) works within the scope of practice as defined by the State. Essential duties include assessing patients by physical examination, administering medications and treatments, participating in care planning, supervising LVNs and Certified Nursing Assistants, communicating with physicians, documenting assessments and care, and educating patients and families on health-related issues. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear. Will occasionally assist to lift and/or transfer patients weighing between 100 to 250 pounds.
