Travel Registered Nurse Radiology Job

• Start date: 06/08/2026
• Work setting: interventional radiology in a level 1 trauma center

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery for interventional radiology patients, including overnight observation when needed
• Deliver care for IR patients undergoing CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, X-ray, and ultrasound procedures; support GI postprocedural care as applicable
• Monitor telemetry and respond to patient needs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Prepare, care for, and discharge patients boarding overnight for pre/post procedures; document care and progress
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and accurate clinical documentation; escalate concerns per protocol
• Demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment

Requirements

• Current New York RN license (active)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Registered IR nursing experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology setting within a level 1 trauma center
