Director of Nursing (DON) at Union Plaza Care Center in Queens, NY. Full-Time Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The DON is responsible for the overall management, leadership, and direction of nursing services throughout the facility, working closely with the Administrator, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary team to maintain survey readiness, support staff development, and ensure exceptional care delivery.

Requirements

  • Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • BSN preferred; ADN candidates with significant leadership experience will be considered
  • Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or Nurse Manager in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, NYSDOH requirements, and long-term care operations
  • Proven success managing state surveys and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing clinical teams
