About this role
Registered Nurse – OR Circulator
Memorial Pain Surgery Center (MPSC) is a new 2 OR ASC focusing on minimally invasive spine procedures. Our small team is growing - we are affiiliated with a busy interventional pain practice and in addition to that team, MPSC has two dedicated RNs, 3 surgical technicians, and a CRNA.
The OR Circulator is responsible for providing safe and efficient nursing care during procedures at Memorial Pain Surgery Center. This is a full-time clinical position primarily focused on circulating in the operating room. Assistance with scheduling, pre-operative calls will be necessary on any lighter clinical days.

- Prepare the operating room for scheduled procedures
- Confirm patient identity, consent, allergies and required documentation
- Participate in surgical timeouts
- Circulate procedures and maintain accurate intraoperative documentation
- Monitor sterile technique and address any breaks in sterility
- Ensure required equipment, medications, implants and supplies are available
- Coordinate with physicians, anesthesia staff, surgical technicians and vendors
- Document implants, medications and specimens accurately
- Assist with room turnover and preparation for the next case
- Cross-cover pre-op and PACU when needed
- Participate in staff training, competencies, drills and in-services
- Report supply shortages, safety concerns and incomplete documentation to the Director of Nursing
- Follow all facility policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Current unrestricted Oklahoma RN license
- OR circulating experience preferred
- Ambulatory surgery, PACU or procedural nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, organization and documentation skills
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a small clinical team
- BLS and ACLS certification; PALS if required for the patient population
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
