American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) Unit position requiring a compact or OK RN license and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Work in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/Step-Down) caring for higher-acuity adult patients
- Patients require continuous cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, frequent assessments, and complex nursing care
- Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (7p-7a)
- Floating to Med/Surg and sister facilities required as needed within scope
- Uses Epic for charting
- Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact/OK) required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required

certifications
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Previous IMCU, PCU, Step-Down, ICU, or Med/Surg experience preferred
- Current driver's license or state-issued ID required for consideration
- Utility bill in traveler's name with matching address within the last three months required for consideration

- Provide continuous monitoring and complex nursing interventions for high-acuity patients
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Maximum RTO of 5 days per assignment, with no holiday or blackout date requests permitted
- Former Integris permanent staff must be separated from the organization for at least one year before being eligible for travel assignments
