Sunshine Health and Rehab provides exceptional long term and acute care services for adults in need. We are an award winning, locally owned care facility serving the Spokane community for over 70 years. Our services include short and long-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, adult family homes, mental health, memory care, and home health. Our goal is to ensure we treat everyone in our care with respect and dignity while providing a comprehensive system of services. We are looking to grow our team of resident care professionals with dedicated staff who can deliver quality resident care while growing their skills as a member of our team.

Assist in establishing and implementing procedures for medication storage, reordering, administration and client compliance. Administer medications as directed.

Observe for effectiveness and side effects. Perform routine assessment of physical complaints; monitor ongoing medical problems and make client referrals for medical emergencies and routine follow-ups. Maintain and enhance customer service to ensure that both external and internal customers of the facility have a positive experience.

Comply with all state WAC requirements and facility policies and procedures. Ensure assigned staff complies with all state WAC requirements and facility policies and procedures. Perform facility charting requirements, correspondence, SALs and other paperwork in a complete and timely manner.

Perform all other nursing duties as assigned.

  • Required Qualifications (Certificates and Licenses)
  • Nursing degree from an accredited program
  • An active LPN license in Washington State or Multistate Compact
  • Current CPR certificate

Equivalent experience is not accepted in place of required education.
