About this role
The professional registered nurse Outpatient RN CAP 2 is accountable for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients. As a member of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) health care team, participates in decision-making, teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities. Performs ongoing patient data collection pre-during-post hemodialysis treatment, administers medications, initiates emergency response measures, directs safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy, and serves as a resource, leader, coach and mentor for staff.
Requires graduate of accredited School of Nursing, current state licensure, CPR BLS Certification, and minimum 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.
