We are seeking to fill the position of Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN.

Hourly Pay range = $36.76 to $39.69 based on experience plus an addl. 10% for evening & night shift. Day, Evening and Nights shifts available.

Qualifications

Current LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the State of New York. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a long-term care setting or a new graduate with the desire to learn. Knowledgeable DOH/CMS regulations and Electronic Health Records preferred.

Summary

Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action immediately. Observe residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc. Monitor residents’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts. Provide emotional and psychological support when needed. Communicate with residents’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions.
