American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 1 year of pediatric experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

  • Pediatrics unit setting
  • Day shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
  • Patient ratio of 1:3
  • Weekend requirement of 2 Fridays, 2 Saturdays, and 2 Sundays within a 6-week period
  • On-call requirement of 1 shift per 6-week period
  • Float to NICU and provide newborn care on the post-partum unit as needed
  • Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

  • Active RN license (CO or compact) required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • PALS certification preferred
  • NRP certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience required

  • Provide direct pediatric nursing care and support float coverage to NICU and post-partum units when needed
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
  • Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate if residing within 75 miles of the facility
