Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 4x10hrs • Hours: 40 hrs/wk • Start Date: Sep 14, 2026 • Length: 6 weeks • Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with a CA license and airway management expertise for a 13-week acute care assignment. Details • Work in the PACU unit of an acute care community hospital setting • Day shift schedule with 4x • 10 hour shifts (10:00-20:30 or 10:30-21:00) • Uses Epic EMR system Requirements • Active CA RN license required • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted) • Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in critical care or PACU in an acute care setting of similar size and complexity • Minimum 2 years experience with airway management • Experience with central lines and post-procedure care as obtained in a critical care/PACU environment • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the nursing process addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological patient needs • 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration Additional Information • Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological patient needs • Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the local rate • Returning employees/travelers must have a separation period of at least 1 year to be eligible to return • Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract • Holiday coverage includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day • Must complete required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
