About this role
UNC Health Rex Holly Springs Women's & Children's Services is seeking an experienced Neonatal/NICU-trained Registered Nurse. The 12-bed Women's & Children's Unit cares for postpartum patients, newborns, stable antepartum patients, and patients recovering from minor gynecologic procedures. The Neonatal/NICU-trained Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care for newborns requiring advanced assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
This nurse collaborates closely with Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), Respiratory Therapists (RTs), pediatric providers, and the multidisciplinary care team to deliver safe, evidence-based, family-centered care. Responsibilities include education, evaluation of care, implementation, leadership, patient assessment, and planning.
