Provides and coordinates patient care, educates patients and families about health conditions, and offers medical treatment, guidance, and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient information, medical records, insurance details, and required admission documentation.

• Record vital signs, including height, weight, temperature, and blood pressure.

• Prepare patients for examinations and collect clinical samples.

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and other daily care needs.

• Monitor patients, document changes in their conditions, and take appropriate action.

• Assemble and operate equipment such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, and oxygen supplies.

• Collect blood, urine, and other samples and perform routine laboratory tests.

• Provide individualized patient care according to established care plans.

• Administer prescribed medications and injections in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Current nursing license required.

• At least 10 years of nursing experience required.

• Knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act and the legal responsibilities associated with nursing practice.

• Knowledge of healthcare procedures used to diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses.

• Ability to analyze information and accurately document patient data and test results.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Patient assessment, documentation, and clinical care skills.

• Proficiency in collecting samples and using basic medical equipment.

• Licensed registered nurse with extensive clinical experience.

• Demonstrated understanding of nursing standards, legal requirements, and patient safety practices.
