Mental Health Intake Nurse - RN

As a Mental Health Intake Nurse - RN, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn. Provide a patient onboarding experience for patients admitting to the in-patient units. Provide support to in-patient units upon discharging. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting all aspects of patient care. Coordinate care with physicians, collaborate with interdisciplinary team, provide patient education, practice safe medication administration using eMar, assign and conduct individual and group interventions for behavioral and safe management of patients, and assist patients and families to understand diagnosis, prescribed treatment, and safe management of symptoms related to specific mental disorders.
