Where You Will Work: 4EF Medical/Telemetry – Respiratory Focus 4EF is a 24-bed, all-private room unit specializing in respiratory care and is the only non-ICU unit at Luke's caring for ventilator patients. While respiratory is our focus, we also treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including COPD, CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, diabetic ulcers, and cellulitis. Our patients are high-acuity—just below ICU level, making this an excellent environment for skill development. What You'll See: Ventilators (up to 4 chronic vent patients) Chest tubes, trachs, feeding tubes, ostomies Wound vacs, ports, suprapubic catheters IV therapy, drips, NG tubes, drains Why Join 4EF? We're Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association . What You'll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
