Provides direct patient care in a Cath Lab setting at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies. Responsibilities include preparing the environment before procedures, orienting and assessing patients, reviewing medical records for safety, responding to life-threatening situations, providing nursing care in a technically complex environment, and delivering patient/family education. M-F • 10 hour shifts with call requirements of 1 night per week and 1 weekend a month. Full-time, 70 hours per pay period.

Requirements

Registered Nurse licensure (state)
Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program (if less than 3 years experience)
6 months of RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program
2+ years of recent RN experience in procedural, ED, critical care, cardiac, or cath lab (considered)
BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer (card in-hand before start date, good through 60 days of hire)
ACLS within 6 months of hire
Fluoroscopy operator license through CDPHE and RCIS/RCES within 2 years (upon training to scrub or working in scrub role)
