Provides direct patient care in a Cath Lab setting at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies. Responsibilities include preparing the environment before procedures, orienting and assessing patients, reviewing medical records for safety, responding to life-threatening situations, providing nursing care in a technically complex environment, and delivering patient/family education. M-F • 10 hour shifts with call requirements of 1 night per week and 1 weekend a month. Full-time, 70 hours per pay period.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse licensure (state)
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program (if less than 3 years experience)
  • 6 months of RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program
  • 2+ years of recent RN experience in procedural, ED, critical care, cardiac, or cath lab (considered)
  • BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer (card in-hand before start date, good through 60 days of hire)
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • Fluoroscopy operator license through CDPHE and RCIS/RCES within 2 years (upon training to scrub or working in scrub role)
