About this role
Responsible for monitoring clinical supply policies and procedures, provide continuing education, preparation for The Joint Commission, Infection Control, Safety Procedures, Emergency Preparedness, assist with performance improvement monitoring and other clinical related programs, as necessary.

Responsible for developing and writing clinical support policies and procedures. Works in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Quality and Operations teams to determine educational and training needs for the clinical support staff. Collaborates in coordination with involved parties ensuring clinical quality controls are in place and being met.

Develops and facilitates educational material related to infection prevention and control, safety procedures, and other topics. Ensures training programs support and enforce Mountain Park Health Center's policies and procedures and comply with regulatory entities. With the use of a tracer tool, evaluates, and audits training effectiveness.
Presents results of audits to stakeholders. Assists with the preparation and coordination of emergency preparedness and pandemic plans and activities. Participates with lead safety officer in conducting in-service sessions on emergency preparedness and partakes in the development of an effective Emergency Preparedness Plan.
Oversees procedures on CLIA Waived Test to ensure compliance with regulatory entities such as Joint Commission, Department of Health, etc. Enforces safety guidelines, including National Patient Safety Goals. Trains and oversees instrument processing as it relates to infection control following guidance from regulatory guidelines such as the Joint Commission. Maintains current knowledge of Joint Commission, and other clinical regulatory requirements.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance. Performs other duties as required. Position Qualifications - Minimum
Qualifications
Current R. N. licensure from the Arizona State Board of Nursing, At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience or equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education, Associate degree in Nursing, Current CPR certification. Preferred
