About this role
The Intensive Care RN (ICU RN) will be responsible for providing intensive care to patients with life-threatening conditions. The ICU RN will have advanced skills in critical care settings, make quick decisions, and will be compassionate to all patients. An ICU RN monitors vital signs, blood oxygen levels, administer IV Fluids, and communicates effectively to the medical team to modify care plans accordingly.
Responsibilities include delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients, using advanced equipment like cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and capnography devices, safely administering medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products, managing life-support devices such as ventilators, dialysis machines, and cardiac monitors, providing emotional support and education to patients' families, and documenting all aspects of patient care.

Requirements
- RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred
- Critical Care Course preferred
- CCRN Certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
