Clinical Assistant I – Cardiology Practice

As a Clinical Assistant at Indian River Hospital’s Cardiology Practice, you will assist your fellow LPNs, RNs and other healthcare staff in providing exceptional patient support. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 4:30PM or 8:30AM – 5:00PM. Responsibilities include providing professional nursing care to patients, accurate medication administration, implementing pain management assessments, reporting changes in patient status, maintaining documentation, patient teaching, and adhering to patient safety guidelines.

Minimum qualifications include graduating from an accredited LPN program, current Florida licensure as an LPN, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include clinical experience and ACLS certification.
