Now Hiring: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – PRN/Part-Time Join the Clinical Team at Rossmoor Post Acute Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dedicated nursing team on a PRN/Part-Time basis. Located in the Rossmoor community of Walnut Creek, we are committed to providing high-quality skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in a supportive, resident-centered environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an LVN seeking a flexible schedule while maintaining consistent part-time hours. Position Details Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Employment Type: PRN / Part-Time Hours: 24–32 hours per week Pay Rate: $36.00–$40.00 per hour Location: Walnut Creek, CA Why Join Rossmoor Post Acute? Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as ordered and in accordance with facility policies. Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Perform nursing assessments and document resident care accurately and timely. Assist with wound care, treatments, and other nursing procedures as directed. Monitor vital signs and other clinical indicators as appropriate. Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and members of the interdisciplinary care team. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed. Maintain accurate and complete nursing documentation. Follow all applicable federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures. Promote resident safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life. Qualifications Current and active California LVN license in good standing. Current CPR certification preferred/required per facility policy. Previous skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Must be able to commit to 24–32 hours per week.
