Position purpose
Chief Nursing Officer resumes responsibility for the health of each resident and the coordination of services to provide the appropriate level of care as determined through the assessment process
Position
Requirements
- Current Registered Nursing license in good standing in the State of Illinois
- Degreed as a registered nurse from accredited nursing program
- CPR and First Aid training
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to take call after hours and on weekends and maintains a chain of command
- Maintains quality assurance and implements plans for improvement
- Present a professional appearance
- Ability to understand and follow through with directions given related to patient care

Proficiency or Productivity Standards
Organize and prioritize tasks and projects
Accurately complete job responsibilities within the specified time constraints to meet the needs of residents, regulatory standards and customer satisfaction
