American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department position requiring ACLS and PALS certifications and flexibility to work all shift types.

Details

  • Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department with 40 beds
  • Treats all patient populations
  • Patient ratio of 1:6
  • Uses EPIC EHR
  • Varied shifts including days, nights, and mids required
  • Weekend shifts required on an every-other-weekend basis
  • No call requirements
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; CEN preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

  • Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma setting
  • Team-oriented personality preferred
  • Any scrub color permitted
  • Weekly orientation held on Mondays
  • Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
  • Previous LifePoint staff employment within the last 12 months disqualifies candidates from consideration
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
  • All screenings must be complete and clear prior to start
