About this role

MDS Coordinator - Registered Nurse. The primary purpose of this position is to participate in developing plans of patient care for each resident and to review the resident's medical and nursing treatments to ensure they are in accordance with the resident's care plan and wishes. Essential duties include reviewing resident care plans, scheduling and facilitating care plan meetings, monitoring completion of PPS and OBRA, ensuring accuracy of clinical assessments and documentation, managing utilization review, overseeing MAR treatment and flow sheets, charting nurses' notes, coordinating with other departments, and participating in facility surveys.
