Pre/Post PACU RN

• Assess patient condition through comprehensive physical examinations and vital signs monitoring before and after surgical procedures.
• Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, following strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as SIS, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists,surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and discharge instructions.
• Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions and monitor for adverse reactions or complications.
• Assist with procedures such as suturing and Loop Recorders.

*Qualifications*

• Valid RN license with current state registration; experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
• Critical care experience, including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like SIS.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, aseptic technique, and patient assessment skills.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, venipuncture.
• BLS/ACLS is required.

Pay: $2,033.66 - $2,449.14 per week
