About this role
WIC Registered Nurse/Nutritionist position at Sedgwick County Health Department providing quality WIC services through one-on-one counseling with clients. Responsibilities include assessment of client nutritional and medical risk, assigning and issuing food packages, providing client education, breastfeeding support, immunization screening, and referrals to community and medical services. Requires knowledge of WIC program policies and procedures. Reports to WIC Site Supervisor. Employee provides support during public health emergencies (Activation Level 1). Work
schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with staff rotating one evening a week until 6:30pm.
