Clinic Nurse (RN, LPN, or MA)

Administers injections, applies splints, dressings, etc., as ordered. Dispenses medication as directed by physicians. Performs various clinical/lab duties and performs other related duties as assigned. Screens and prioritize telephone calls for referral to physicians. Assists with clinic performance improvement activities and assists with orientation of new employees. Performs administrative duties such as communications with office staff regarding patient care, scheduling appointments, and referrals. Maintains timely flow of patients. Maintains patient confidentiality. Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary supplies. Participates in professional development activities, attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested and contributes input for the development of departmental policies and procedures. Assumes responsibility and accountability for time management, professional relationships and interpersonal interactions. Maintains and enhances a current level of knowledge relative to professional practice, as well as continuing education requirements necessary for licensure and CPR certification.
