Work Comp Management Services (WCMS) is seeking an experienced *Registered Nurse (RN)* to support an on-site occupational health program serving a major manufacturing client in East Liverpool, OH.

This position is ideal for nurses who are comfortable working *independently in a clinic environment, managing workplace injuries, and supporting employee health and safety in an industrial setting.*

Position Overview

The *Occupational Health Nurse (RN)* serves as a highly skilled nurse responsible for delivering occupational health services within an on-site clinic environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, triage capabilities, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy while supporting workplace health initiatives.

The nurse will provide care to employees, support emergency response efforts, assist with workplace health programs, and collaborate with facility leadership and safety teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care and *injury triage for workplace injuries and illnesses*
  • Respond to and support *on-site medical emergencies*
  • Conduct *DOT drug testing and fit-for-duty evaluations*
  • Perform *OSHA-required medical surveillance exams*
  • Assist with *post-offer medical screenings*
  • Support *return-to-work and disability case management programs*
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and clinic records
  • Serve as a liaison between employees, Human Resources, and occupational health providers
  • Assist with *workplace wellness initiatives and health promotion programs*
  • Support safety investigations and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety teams and facility leadership

Qualifications Required

  • Active *Ohio (RN) license*
  • Associate’s degree in nursing
  • *3–5 years of clinical experience* (ER, urgent care, clinic, or occupational health)
  • *BLS certification*
  • Strong triage and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to work *independently in a clinic setting*
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office systems

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Occupational health or industrial clinic experience
  • Knowledge of *OSHA, ADA, and workplace safety programs*
  • Experience supporting employee health programs and wellness initiatives

Schedule

*Full-Time | 1st Shift*

  • Monday – Friday morning schedule
  • Typical shift hours:
  • *8:00 AM - 4:00 PM*
  • Schedule may vary slightly depending on facility operations
