About this role
Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. This Registered Nurse (RN) will care for the following Critical and Intermediate Care specialties: Cardiovascular, Surgical, Medical. 0.75 FTE

Requirements
- RN license
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current ICU RN with a minimum of 9 months' experience or within the last year as an ICU RN (equivalent to 1248 hours)
- Experience with various vasoactive medications, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring
- 12 hour shift, Day/Night Rotation, Every third weekend
