About this role

*Job Summary* We are seeking a compassionate and skilled 3rd shift (11pm-7am) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. Under the direction of our Director of Nursing, the ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including acute, chronic, and long-term care environments. This role involves performing comprehensive assessments, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The rate of pay is dependent upon experience and type of license (RN or LPN).

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and physical examinations
  • Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following established protocols
  • Provide wound care
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR/EHR systems; PointClickCare
  • Manage complex cases involving acute pain management, infection control, or trauma care
  • Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory testing, medical imaging, or catheterization procedures
  • Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards
  • Educate patients and families on health coaching, medication management, and disease prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

*Experience*

  • Prior experience in Long Term Care is preferred
  • Experience working with geriatrics is desirable
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR; PointClickCare is preferred
  • Background in home care or travel nursing across inpatient/outpatient settings is a plus
