Responsibilities
- Provide total nursing care for patients by performing assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care planning
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor responses and safety
- Lead and collaborate with ancillary staff and other members of the patient care team to uphold professional nursing standards
- Document nursing care, update plans of care, and participate in rounds and handoffs
- Adapt care to a lifespan population (infants through geriatrics) as needed
- Promote patient safety, quality of care, and participate in quality improvement and infection control activities
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma RN license
- NIH certification
- BLS (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years Med-Surg RN experience
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in an inpatient Med-Surg setting
