Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job

• Start date: May 18, 2026
• Work setting: inpatient Med-Surg care across lifespan (infants through geriatrics)

Responsibilities

• Provide total nursing care for patients by performing assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care planning
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor responses and safety
• Lead and collaborate with ancillary staff and other members of the patient care team to uphold professional nursing standards
• Document nursing care, update plans of care, and participate in rounds and handoffs
• Adapt care to a lifespan population (infants through geriatrics) as needed
• Promote patient safety, quality of care, and participate in quality improvement and infection control activities

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN license
• NIH certification
• BLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years Med-Surg RN experience
• Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in an inpatient Med-Surg setting
