Utilizing the nursing process, responsibility for providing for immediate and long-term nursing care needs of patients within the standards of the department, hospital and regulatory agencies. Essential Functions include assessing patients' needs, utilizing Recovery Oriented Framework, performing point of care testing, de-escalating crisis situations, planning nursing interventions, medication administration using BMV scanning, leading patient groups, providing direction and supervision of MHSs, participating in training and education of healthcare providers, maintaining professional growth and competency, and maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
