The Department of Hematology & Medical Oncology is comprised of physicians, nurses, researchers, advanced practice providers (APP) and other healthcare professionals specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cancers or disorders of the blood. Cleveland Clinic Care Coordinators help patients manage their own care, coordinating services, providing medical advice and comfort to patients. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Three to five years of nursing experience
- Strong attention to detail and therapeutic communication skills
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
- Certified Breast Nurse or Certified Breast Navigator - preferred
