About this role
Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes.
Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards. The person in this role will work three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00p - 7:00am, including some weekends. 6 Round Wing is an adult Medical Surgical unit with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6. Cares for individuals with complex conditions including respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, neurological, psychiatric, cardiac, and infectious diseases.
