About this role
Tuerk House is a non-profit behavioral health system that serves nearly 300 patients a day. The Registered Nurse (RN) works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and is responsible for the comprehensive care of all assigned patients, in accordance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of the agency. The RN is accountable for making clinical decisions and providing care consistent with regulations from the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and agency guidelines.
Essential duties include patient follow-up, medication administration, regulatory compliance, nursing assessment, staff orientation, record maintenance, TB testing records, patient documentation, incident monitoring, infection control, client care records, service coordination, clinical documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
