About this role
Registered Nurses in an outpatient chemotherapy and infusion clinic provide independent, evidence-based care to adult patients receiving biologic therapies for chronic conditions. Duties include managing outpatient infusion sessions, administering IV, IM, and SubQ medications, performing patient assessments, initiating and titrating IV infusions, monitoring patients for adverse reactions, reviewing patient charts, preparing medications, documenting treatments in EMR, and communicating with providers and care team members.
Requirements
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods while providing patient care. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (e.g., IV fluids and medical supplies). Strong adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards. Professional, calm, and supportive presence when caring for patients receiving complex therapies.
