Nurse Manager Opportunity - Inpatient Adult Behavioral Health. The Pavilion Behavioral Health System includes a 110 bed inpatient hospital, a residential treatment center for youth and a residential addictions treatment program. The Nurse Manager assumes the responsibility of overseeing and coordinating the total assessment, planning, implementation of patient care, ensuring that quality services are rendered to patients in accordance with the State of Illinois' Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission, Medicare, etc., and sets standards for the adult unit. In conjunction with the Director of Nursing, ensures maintenance of appropriate staffing on the adult unit with respect to census and acuity levels.

Requirements

  • Illinois RN License
  • CPR certification
  • 2 years clinical psychiatric experience (Required)
  • 2 years managerial experience (Preferred)
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Progressive roles in nursing leadership
