About this role
The Gastro Center of Maryland in Columbia,MD are growing GI focused Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) and has an exciting opportunity for a Full time Pre-Op/OR/PACU Nurse to join our team!
We are currently searching for a Registered Nurse who can work cooperatively with existing staff, nurses and physicians and perform a variety of duties. Responsibilities include: admission and recovery of patients undergoing Endoscopy and Colonoscopy procedures. Assisting during GI procedures. Participation in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current Maryland state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain BLS and ACLS and have at least two years of registered nurse experience, and preferred Endoscopy Preop/PACU experience. All staff nurses are expected to learn all aspects of the position, including but not limited to Pre-Op, PACU, Intra-Op, pre-procedure phone calls and materials management. Must be willing to occasionally travel to our other locations as needed.

The Center is open Monday through Friday.
