About this role
*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate *Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN* to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a home healthcare setting. This role is essential in assisting parents with their child's needs.
We are looking for someone who can work *3:00 PM–10:00 PM full-time, 4:00 PM–10:00PM part-time, or flexible part-time hours.*
*Duties*
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the parents
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment plans.
- Document medical histories, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately in compliance with ICD-10 standards.
- Utilize Caryfy software for medical documentation and patient management
*Skills*
- Strong experience in primary care settings.
- Proficient in medical documentation practices
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for educating the parents and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with medically fragile children
- A commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
