RN Clinic - Systemwide Float Pool

Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospital campuses, 31 outpatient centers, clinics, emergency rooms, urgent care sites, along with our 17,000 employees, more than 3,000 affiliated physicians and 2,000 volunteers. This is a benefited, full time position generally working 8am-5pm but shifts may vary based on assignment. Required to float to any Scripps Clinic based on need. Why Systemwide Float Pool? Scripps Systemwide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports all Scripps Clinic locations throughout San Diego. These are outpatient facilities. As a member of the float team, you can fill vital roles on assignments providing critical coverage for employees' leave of absences and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments. Be flexible, open to floating, & confident in your abilities when given a short orientation to jumping right in to help! What You'll Do Shifts and locations will vary at the clinics throughout San Diego. Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills ADN or Nursing Diploma 18 months of recent RN experience, 1 of which in a Clinic environment Excellent interpersonal skills Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors Required Certification/Registration CA RN license BLS through American Heart Association Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification BSN EPIC experience 2+ years in clinic setting Experience with 2 providers with 15+ patients per day Travel Requirements Work between Scripps Clinic locations throughout San Diego At Scripps Health, you will experience the pride, support and respect of an organization that has been repeatedly recognized as one of the nation’s Top 100 Places to Work. Position Pay Range: $51.66-$74.92/hour
